GUIDED TOURS
In order to put back the individual at the heart of the artistic work and issues, we set up a work process for an active reception of the artwork. It is primarily to verbalize what we see or what we think we see. From a selection of artworks with big question marks, the cultural mediator raises everyone’s curiosity and imagination to decipher artwork and to grasp an artistic vocabulary. The challenge aims at launching a discussion and dare to speak about the artwork. The multiplicity of the points of view, the respect of the imaginary of others and the choice of their words is put forward during this commented visit time. The impression, the feeling, the vision of an individual can be shared and/or discussed.
ARTISTIC PRACTICE WORKSHOPS
The workshop allows another form of initiation and attentiveness, it fixes what could have been said and turns it into gestures and practice. The child creates an object he will carry away. Artistic workshops around exhibitions are an inescapable part of the appropriation work of the artworks for the youngest. An object is made in connection with one of the artworks that have been observed, discussed. It then takes the form that the child will want and can give to it but also the part of interpretation that he could make of the work on display. It is also an acknowledgment of the practice of a child, his “work”. It is the time of experimentation, of matter, of a form of appropriation of works from which the objects produced are inspired.
