PRACTICAL INFORMATION

Recognized for a long time in the region by effective fieldwork to bring the knowledge of contemporary art to diverse populations, the association of the Château de Servières works to the promotion of young or confirmed artists.

He co-produced and accompanied the work of more than 400 artists and organized exchanges with some fifteen Mediterranean countries.

These committed and innovative projects, in line with the challenges of contemporary art, are conducted in partnership with cultural, social and private structures. The dynamic established for 20 years continues today in the exhibition space of artists’ studios made available by the city of Marseille.

The association thus benefits from optimal professional conditions to elaborate its programming completed by workshops of artistic practice and policy of cultural outreach led to the widest public. The scope of these experiments allows to connect artists from different horizons and is a gateway to the professionalization of some of them.

The association Château de Servières receives the support of the city of Marseille, urban contract of social cohesion. the Bouches du Rhône department and the Provence Alpes côte–d’Azur region.
